Upon contacting on of the Havering MPs, Julia Lopez, regarding representing residents' to get a fair length of consultation period for the East Havering Data Centre LDO, we were advised to write to our Ward Councillors (Cllr Oscar Ford, Cllr Chris Wilkins and Cllr Jacqueline Williams).
We continue to be appreciative of your support and would ask you to please also now contact these Councillors, and your own MP, to request that we secure the maximum 12-week consultation period, rather than the minimum of 28-days. They can do this by asking the Strategic Planning Members directly, as they are the committee members who will be agreeing to proceed with the LDO consultation and the terms. It's better to secure this for residents for the Committee meeting, and incorporate it within the consultation document and publication, rather than wait until it is revealed, legally challenged and then needs to be changed.
